The Office of the Fire Marshal carries out the provisions of the Fire Prevention Act, delivers fire prevention and protection programs, and works with fire departments, municipalities, and partner organizations to promote fire safety. Units within the branch consist of provincially funded firefighter training and testing, fire investigations, fire inspections, fire plans review. The OFM is the body that is legislatively responsible to determine the content for all firefighter training within the Province of NB.
What you will do
The Department of Justice and Public Safety is seeking an individual to join the Office of the Fire Marshal as a Program Administrator reporting to the Senior Policy Consultant/Certification Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible to act as the lead coordinator, trainer, and technical expert for all activities surrounding the movement/use of the Provincial Mobile Burn Unit (MBU). The incumbent may also become part of the OFM Fire Certification Program team and assume duties such as coordinating provincial IFSAC/ProBoard NFPA skill testing sessions (job performance reviews) for the program.

Pay Band 4: $54, 548 - $76,284
