Function

- Works in the office environment approximately 25% of the time using standard office equipment
- Spends time in offshore environment and offsite contractor locations 75% of the time which can involve moderate exposure to noise levels and machinery
- Light to moderate travel to support projects and operations
AUTHORITY
- Approval of expenditure according to company authority matrix
- Authorized to take necessary actions to fulfill the responsibilities defined
- Authorized to delegate all tasks required to fulfill obligations
ROLE
- Perform assigned work-task as directed and in accordance with the established procedures and routines defined in the Company’s quality system and project procedures
- Maintain a close operational communication with the onshore Project Manager
- Ensure the best practice management towards maintain safe systems of working is implemented
- Initiate and maintain relevant administration systems
- Act as a Role Model for the project teams and promote the company values and brands

- Onboard Client Representatives, approved sub-contractors and suppliers
Tasks And Responsibilities
Key Tasks:
- Responsibility for the effective management and safe and efficient execution of the offshore project activities in accordance with stator and Company rules, regulations and objectives.
- Full responsibility, ownership and accountability for all offshore project activities.
- Duty of care for all offshore projects personnel and a liaison function with Vessel Master and Chief Engineer to ensure compliance with all appropriate Health, Safety, Environments, Security and Quality policies and is responsible for all interfaces between Marine and Project activities.
- Delivery and control of daily morning meetings, project and safety briefings
Health And Safety
- Responsible for ensuring, as far as possible, safe operations both offshore and onshore complying with relevant statutory and safety requirements
- Responsible for reporting all relevant health and safety documentation to the HSEQ Manager
Requirements
EDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES
- Demonstrable experience in Project Management position within the Subsea or Offshore environment is essential
- At least 3 – 5 years experience in Management of offshore projects in the Oil & Gas Industry
- At least 3 – 5 years Subsea experience
- Working Knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards
- Good leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Education / experience within project management
- 10 years relevant experience
- Fluent in English, both verbal and writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Packages – Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent communicator, reader and writer
- Capable of discussing issues and topics of importance at Senior Management Level
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask
