Are you a Technical Writer Expert looking for a new opportunity?Are you looking for a new contract opportunity?We are pleased to offer you a new contract opportunity for you to consider: Technical Writer ExpertStart: ASAPEstimated length: 6 monthsLocation: TorontoActively seeking for candidates with below requirements.AdvantagesYou will have an opportunity to work with a leading employer in the local market.ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement documentation plan to schedule project deliverables and timelinesResponsible for the usability and perfection of the text and the timely completion of each communication piece in project/assignmentEnsure requirements are coordinated into final document according to client expectationsEnsure final documentation meets stakeholder requirementsMonitors project for delays and resolves issues as they ariseProvide support for each phases of document creationAssist with scheduling and coordinating the work efforts of a technical writing teamReview published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content and methods of reproduction and bindingProvide recommendations to client on ways to improve technical documents based on evaluationsOversee audit of existing documentation in accordance with internal audit requirements or as a result of organizational or infrastructure changesTrain others on internal knowledge-sharing processes to ensure delivery of requested information at the right time. Develop new processes as neededTrain others on the business's current technology and infrastructure and keep current on knowledge sharing methods, tools and techniquesProvide feedback and instruct others in writing stylesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Business or related fieldCertification in Technical or Business Writing would be an asset10+ years technical/business writing experienceKnowledge of all aspects of the all phases of the documentation process and the services to deliver final documentation productsProject management skills with expert time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with competing deadlinesGeneral management skills to lead service delivery requirements and coach team members, as requiredExpert editing and reviewing skills to ensure final product meets client expectationsExpert writing skills that clarify and communicate instructions or proceduresExpert knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammarExpert documentation skillsKnowledge of communication and dissemination techniques and methods would be an assetKnowledge of approaches, tools, techniques and roles and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients within and outside own areaStrong knowledge of and ability to utilize knowledge capture processes in response to business requirementsQuick study with advanced ability to learn new techniques and software to support the client, as requiredSummaryDo you have this experience?
