About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Shop Parts Specialist / Shipper Receiver to join our team at our Moncton location.

Shift: Monday to Friday; 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Pull and stage parts for shop jobs before coming into the shop
• Assign parts and supplies on work orders
• Identify and keep parts for warranty consideration
• Confirm availability and pick parts for OTC part sales
• Return un-used parts to inventory
• Maintain organization and upkeep of warehouse
• Label and store parts in accurate locations
• Receive in-bound parts, supplies and materials – physically and in system
• Pull, stage and label parts for outbound shipping
• Label, assign and maintain storage and bin locations for all inventory
• Assist in development and improvement of warehouse and storage plans
• Perform regular cycle counts for all inventory and monitor for shrinkage avoidance
• Occasional need to pick up and deliver parts as required in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure all loads are safe and properly secured at all times
• Maintain condition and cleanliness while using company vehicles
• Complete vehicle inspection reports when required
• Safely operate the company vehicle adhering to all safety requirements, obeying traffic laws and driving undistracted
• Other work as may be defined
  
  

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent with trade training
• Valid Class 5 License with clean driver’s abstract
• Industry related experience an asset
• Truck and trailer parts knowledge and experience
• Comfortable with prioritizing and handling large volumes of paperwork
• Ability to work in a high pace environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong data entry skills
• Great communication skills
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Cetaris etc.)
