Job Description
We’re seeking a Learning Specialist to elevate our current offerings and support us in our next evolution of our product. You will design engaging learning solutions using a variety of delivery methods and tools and use your project management skills to keep things organized and running on time. JOB OVERVIEW At The Humphrey Group (THG), our purpose is to teach and promote inspiring communication at work and everywhere. As the Learning Specialist you will report to the VP, Product and will be responsible for creating new learning content and enhancing our existing offerings. Your specific responsibilities will be: Design and develop programs and materials. You will build programs on your own and collaborate with the product team, facilitators, and external vendors to create and update leading edge learning content and materials. Maintain and update programs. You will monitor and measure learning outcomes and adjust programs based on changing business needs. You will stay current in learning trends and best practices, and drive continuous improvement to ensure programs are always accurate and current. You will maintain organized files with strong version control. Manage vendor relationships. You will coordinate the use of vendors and contractors in the development of content, and provide feedback to ensure the deliverables meet expectations. Collaborate with stakeholders. You will collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather insight and develop targeted and measurable content. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Here’s what we’re looking for in the Learning Specialist we choose to join our team. You have a proven passion and expertise in learning and development. You have experience designing and delivering training and understand what great experiential learning should be. You are familiar with different learning design concepts and can speak with confidence about how IP, facilitation, and learning design can and should come together to make learning that builds skills and delights learners. You are passionate about continuous learning and stay current with industry trends. You’re an innovator in the learning space. You’re willing to try new things and think creatively about taking our learning experiences to the next level. You enjoy the creative process of researching, brainstorming, and testing of learning experiences. You bring a proven track record of designing inspirational training for a corporate setting. You understand the need to build content that is unique in order to differentiate our offerings from other learning vendors. You are a strong writer, editor, and visual designer, and can create lesson plans and learning materials that engage learners. You bring expertise in Articulate Storyline and Adobe Suite. You have worked with learning management systems, and have designed effective learning solutions for the platform. You are driven, hardworking, detail oriented and dependable. You have experience managing projects in a learning environment and can prioritize and organize your work to deliver on deadlines. You set ambitious goals for yourself and work hard to achieve them.
