Peace Noël Responsibilities: - Run 3 hour pottery workshops for 1-5 adults in one of our 2 studios in East Toronto, 112 Hampton Ave and 148 Gainsborough Road - Teach the basics of wheel throwing - Develop and follow lesson plans that align with curriculum standards - Provide individualized attention and support to each child - Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians - Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience - Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment Experience: - Previous experience in early childhood education or a related field is preferred - Ability to cook and prepare meals/snacks for children - Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds - Knowledge of tutoring techniques and strategies - Strong passion for educating and inspiring young minds - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Job Type: Freelance Salary: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week Schedule: Day shift Evening shift Weekends as needed Education: Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Experience: teaching: 1 year (preferred) Ability to Commute: Toronto, ON M4K 2Z1 (required) Work Location: In person
