Responsibilities:

• Crowd Control:
• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patrons and staff.
• Manage crowd flow during peak hours and special events.
• Identification Checks:
• Verify the identification of individuals entering the establishment, ensuring compliance with age restrictions and legal requirements.
• Surveillance:
• Utilize surveillance systems to monitor activities within the premises.
• Identify and respond to any suspicious behavior or potential security threats.
• Intervention and Conflict Resolution:
• Address and resolve conflicts among patrons or staff in a calm and professional manner.
• Implement appropriate intervention measures to prevent escalation.
• Emergency Response:
• Act swiftly and appropriately in emergency situations, including but not limited to fires, medical incidents, or disturbances.
• Coordinate with local authorities if necessary.
• Communication:
• Maintain clear and effective communication with other security personnel, bar staff, and management.
• Provide accurate and timely reports on incidents or security concerns.
• Enforce Policies:
• Ensure compliance with establishment policies and procedures.
• Address any violations promptly and in accordance with guidelines.
• Customer Service:
• Provide a welcoming and helpful presence to patrons, offering assistance when needed.
• Uphold a positive and professional image for the establishment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security or a related field.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Job Title: Barback

Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and energetic Barback to support our bartending team and ensure the smooth operation of our bar. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a strong work ethic, able to handle a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Stock Management:
• Keep the bar stocked with essential supplies, including ice, glassware, garnishes, and other necessary items.
• Monitor and restock inventory throughout the shift.
• Glassware Maintenance:
• Collect and wash glassware, ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
• Polish and prepare glassware for use.
• Assistance to Bartenders:
• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks, including fetching ingredients and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area.
• Handle routine tasks to allow bartenders to focus on customer service.
• Cleaning and Organization:
• Keep the bar area clean and organized, including clearing empty glasses, wiping surfaces, and disposing of waste.
• Empty and clean trash bins regularly.
• Customer Service:
• Interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, taking drink orders when necessary.
• Provide assistance to patrons with any requests related to the bar.
• Assist with Set-Up and Breakdown:
• Assist in the set-up of the bar before opening and the breakdown after closing.
• Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barback or in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
