Job Description:

Personal Support Worker (PSW) works closely with individuals who require personal care and support due to illness, age, or disability. They assist with daily tasks and promote independence while providing compassionate care.

Job Duties

• Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Administer medications and monitor clients' health status
• Assist with household tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping
• Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation
• Document and report any changes in clients' condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
• Continuously improve skills and education through training and professional development opportunities
