Reporting to the Vice President of Business Transformation & Technology, this position will lead our efforts to drive excellence in project management practices, processes, and tools that enable a successful delivery of projects & programs across the enterprise. Position Summary: The Senior Manager of PMO & Delivery has primary responsibility for defining and maintaining Project Management standards and tools that can be leveraged across all functions in the company. This position will play a key role in our Enterprise Processes & Technology Governance practice, which includes the planning and delivery of our Enterprise Roadmap. The Senior PMO & Delivery Manager will also be responsible for managing key transformational projects in our portfolio. Primary Responsibilities: Leadership Be a key ambassador of the organization’s vision, mission, and overall business strategy; Role model the Company’s core values and culture; inspire and motivate people; continually work to enhance culture; Develop and demonstrate OWNERSHIP to lead processes that facilitate teamwork, communications and effective decision-making across the entire enterprise; Create and maintain an environment of partnership and collaboration with all other departments, System Integrators, and vendors to assure the attainment of overall Company goals; PMO Responsibilities You will collaborate with BPO’s (Business Process Owners), IT Solution Owners, and business leaders to drive the creation of a cross functional 2-year rolling roadmap tied to the company’s objectives. You will chair the Enterprise Capabilities Council that is accountable of reviewing and prioritizing enhancements & change requests submitted by business functions. This includes feasibility (timing/resources) & risks/dependencies/impacts assessment to on-going and planned projects. You will facilitate the translation of our 2-year roadmap into Quarterly Portfolio Projects, capturing business value, capacity feasibility, and budget requirements. You will track the progress of our projects and support the VP of BT&T to communicate updates to senior leadership. You will be responsible for driving effective resource planning to create visibility of availability for all stakeholders. You will review the scheduling and tracking of progress of all projects in our portfolio; you will timely alert delivery risks and collaborate with the Enterprise Capabilities Council to identify mitigating plans and escalation needs. You will own the definition of project management standards, methods, processes, and tools to be used across the organization; You will create a repository for templates, best practices, and lessons learned from previous projects so that they can be reused for new projects; You will provide Project Management related training and coaching to internal team members as needed; You will collaborate with Project Managers from strategic partners engaged in the delivery of projects in our portfolio to oversee budget expenditure, status of deliverables, etc. Delivery Responsibilities You will be assigned to Project Manage key transformational projects in collaboration with the Project Manager from the strategic partner assigned to them. Key responsibilities in this capacity are: Manage cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs on time, within budget, and with quality results; Analyze risks, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating mitigating action; Manage relationships with project stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations; Involve functional expertise and BPOs in design reviews and key decisions. Involve our Change Management staff to effectively drive the change needed in the organization to realize the value of the project; Track and report on progress to plan, cost and schedule, and change control; OTHER Participate in regular meetings, complete administrative duties as necessary; TEAM player with a positive attitude; PASSIONATE with a desire to learn and collaborate; Exceptional time management and organizational skills, self-starter with a high level of initiative and ADAPTABILITY; Demonstrates HUMILITY throughout the Company on a daily basis; Shows a willingness to learn through a curious and questioning mindset; Aptitude to exhibit RESPECT and protect Core Values in a changing environment; Keeps the work atmosphere FUN by keeping it light and welcoming; All other duties and responsibilities as assigned; Reporting Relationships: The Senior Manager of PMO & Delivery reports directly to the Vice President of Business Transformation & Technology. You are a ‘hands-on’ manager, able to think strategically while executing business activities with an agile sprint mindset and tight timelines; You are a creative problem solver and a natural collaborator who can work across different areas of the organization and across markets to align stakeholders for the best business solutions; Thorough understanding of budgeting, project management methodologies, and resource management; Extensive experience with using relevant project management software; Customer and results oriented; Strong negotiation, facilitation and influencing skills; Strong analytical & interpersonal skills; Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse groups of people; Capable of formulating solutions to complex, integrated business problems with an enterprise/holistic view; Ability to influence executive-level associates and bring issues to resolution. EXPERIENCE 7-10 years of project management experience (Agile and Waterfall) including successful oversight of large, complex projects and programs; At least 5 years’ experience applying work process improvement methodologies (i.e. Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing); At least 5 years’ experience in the CPG industry; Experience managing projects in the Integrated Business Planning area is a strong asset (S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization); Experience with roll-out of project management and process improvement in an organization, including implementation of standards and/or methodologies, and tools; Experience considering risks, evaluating alternatives, and encouraging input from others to effectively make decisions and plan mitigation tactics; Experience in relationship management, across both relationship development, maintenance, and ability to understand functional needs with an enterprise mindset; Demonstrated success in mentoring or coaching other project managers; Experience in both large established companies and smaller start-ups an asset; EDUCATION : PMP® or other project management certification; Work Process Improvement related certification is an asset; University degree in a discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a discipline related to industry; MBA an asset; What We Offer: Immerse yourself in our comprehensive benefits program, with Riverside taking care of the costs!
