Consider this opportunity.Reporting To The Manager, Total Rewards, The Total Rewards Analyst Researches, Coordinates, Analyzes And Supports The Administration Of Total Rewards Programs For All Employeesto provide day-to-day administration of Compensation updates and structure changes, as well to provide service and support to internal HR stakeholders with respective areasto perform analytical activities in Job Evaluation, salary recommendation and other Total Rewards programsto support compensation framework and Total Rewards processes in HRIS, and related implementation and projectsHere Is What You Will Be DoingSupports the delivery of total rewards programs including salary administration, job evaluation, annual merit, annual incentive plan and Pension etc.Supports the job evaluation process including development of job descriptions, maintains a comprehensive job evaluation system for the organizationProvides analytical support and subsequent recommendations to HR Business Partnership and Talent Acquisition teams on compensation related events (e.g., hiring, promotions, transfers etc.)Maintains master data values in HRIS related to jobs, positions, organization units, salary structures, management data etc.Responsible for Union Step Increase program and CBA changes resulting from amendments to collective agreements, policies and legislation or newly ratified CBAsIn conjunction with HR Business Partner Teams, responsible to plan departmental reorganizational changes, providing analytical, technical and administrative supportConducts research and analysis of market data to facilitate job design and align positions to ensure market competitivenessConducts analysis and research to ensure compliance with pay equity legislation and regulatory requirementsConducts audits of compensation data to ensure accuracy and validity corrects discrepanciesPrepares, reviews and submits compensation surveys within timelines and ensures accuracy and completeness of dataDefines and documents Compensation processes. Identifies gaps and proposes solutions to implement to gain workplace efficienciesIdentifies opportunities to streamline or automate processes to continuously improve service deliveryBuild strong partnerships with colleagues, employees and management to support evolving business needsPerforms cross functional and other duties as assigned and/or requestedEducation And ExperienceHere is what you will need to be successful:Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent post-secondary education) in Human Resources or related filed3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources with 2-3 years working specifically in Compensation and AnalyticsHRIS and reporting experience as an assetHealth Care / Public Services industry and a Center of Excellence environment experience is preferredKnowledge And SkillsExcellent communication, interpersonal and client-servicing skillsAttention to details, analytical, critical thinking skillsKnowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreement and processesStrong team player and demonstrated ability to work independentlyAbility to raise issues pro-actively and in a timely mannerProven ability to diffuse conflict and maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalismAbility to learn continually and update skill set, through the completion of courses, new legislation and other HR governing bodiesAbility to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining consistency of approachEmployment Type: Full time Contract-12 monthsPaygrade and Zone: 4BLocation: Ontario (currently hybrid; subject to change)All applicants must be a resident of Ontario to be considered for roles at Ontario Health.Internal Application Deadline Date: January 13, 2023Ontario Health encourages applications from candidates who are First Nations, Métis, Inuit, and urban Indigenous; Francophone; Black and racialized; members of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities; trans and nonbinary; and disabled.We encourage applicants with accessibility needs to notify us if they have any accommodation needs in the application and/or interview process.Note: As part of the initial recruitment screening process, applicants must confirm that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
