The Site Reliability Specialist (SRS) is a specialized role within the field of software engineering that focuses on maintaining highly reliable and scalable software systems. SRSs proactively manage the Eco system of the applications and services, ensure the application operate smoothly and reliably with excellent user experience.
How You Will Create Impact
- Monitor system performance and availability, identify bottlenecks and points of failures, and take actions to rectify issues identified.
- Respond promptly to incidents following predefined plans and procedures. It includes batch jobs, message queues, system integration components and end user reported incidents.
- Prevent future occurrences of incidents by analyzing and fixing root causes.
- Work with security teams to implement best practices, ensure data privacy, and comply with industry standards and regulations
- Develop and maintain automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks, deployments, and infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless and reliable deployment of new features and updates following support readiness gating process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, adopt best practices, and continuously improve systems and processes to enhance reliability and performance.

To Join Our Team
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with at least 3 years of experience in application support including development and operation.
- Certi?ed Analyst Associate is required.
- AWS/Google/Microsoft DevOps Engineer certification as an asset
- Working experience in software engineering, with proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Experience in system administration and managing production environments.
- Proficiency in using monitoring and logging tools to track system performance and discover errors.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools as an asset.
What You Need To Know
- Rotational on-call schedule, with shifts during evenings and weekends.
- Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required.
- You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
