Login to your McGill Workday account and apply to this posting using the Find Jobs report (type Find Jobs in the search bar).Position SummaryPosition Summary: Overseen by the Executive Director, BSRM, the RCC Research Assistant from a McGill undergrad program will have as principal responsibilities the following, but not necessarily all: - To leverage their network to attract student teams to participate in the competition, as well as associations and clubs within the McGill and Desautels Faculty ecosystem, but not limited to BCom students, -To be part of a three-to-four-person team with BSRM team members and industry partner that will build the case study and related data for the companies participating in the event, -To assist in the collection of student teams registered, cleaning and maintaining an organized data base and contact list for outreach and participation, -To be part of the overall RCC team and the relevant meetings, -To assist in other tasks to make sure that the first edition of the competition runs smoothly over the course of the period of January 15th to February 26th. These tasks have yet to be defined in detail but are related to event and project management. -Note that the early portion of the competition will take place virtually while the final event is planned in person.QualificationsEducation and Experience: Students in U2 and U3 of the McGill University BCom Degree program, with a major or concentration in Retail. Basic knowledge in computer design software and content management systems (HTML programming, Adobe Suite, social media platforms); strong critical thinking capabilities.
