The candidate will be a member of the Government Security Compliance Team as a Manager, overseeing a team committed to the implementation and enforcement of Government and Company Security Policy as it relates to program performance.

• The Security Program Manager is responsible for oversight of all Lockheed Martin Canada contracts to ensure compliance with Government and contract security requirements where applicable including the Controlled Goods Program, Contract Security Program, International Industrial Security Directorate and other domestic and foreign security policy where applicable.
• You will direct multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously with the support of dedicated program Security Representatives under your leadership.
• You will act as a Subject Matter Expert and resolve complex project security issues by leveraging your experience and contacts both internally and externally.
• You will Liaise and communicate with various customers and stakeholders on security matters and propose solutions to enable the program to meet key milestones and customer objectives.
• Develop and implement overall project security strategy, in the areas of physical, information and supply chain security.
• Represent LM on various related working group activities with customers, domestic and international government officials and international partners.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and guidance for team members and establish goals and objectives that align with program and business objectives.
• Recommend and participate in improvement initiatives across the security function when required, applying a broad knowledge set of all aspects of security as it relates to Lockheed Martin Canada and its operations.

Knowledge of the English language is required for this role as the position described in this posting requires the candidate to communicate every day with a virtual team outside Quebec as well as communicate with different members of the organization, clients and suppliers located outside of Canada. For engineering positions, the candidate must also be able to read or modify technical documents from our main clients and write technical documents for these same clients.
