Office Administrator [The AC Group of Independent Accounting Firms Limited]

Job Description

We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our team and help manage our busy office and front desk.

Responsibilities

We are looking for the right fit to be a part of our growing team in Amherst, NS. As a member of our team you would work closely with clients, and provide administrative supports such as:

  • greet, assist, and/or direct visitors entering the office,
  • receive and process payments, follow up on receivables, and maintain company payables,
  • receive, distribute, direct and relay mail, telephone, and fax messages,
  • ensure general tidiness of all common areas by liaising with the cleaning staff as required,
  • overseeing general office safety and maintenance by contacting the property manager as needed,
  • assisting with IT issues by contacting service providers and maintaining computer equipment,
  • maintain filing systems - both paper and digital,
  • contact the CRA by phone for a variety of client inquiries,
  • perform other related duties as assigned.

Are you interested?

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be comfortable learning new computer programs, an excellent communicator who places high value on client service, very organized with high attention to detail, and familiar with Excel and other Office products. A post-secondary education in office administration, or one-year related experience would be considered an asset.
