Are you an IT Security Specialist / BI Data Analyst Expert Insurance looking for a new opportunity?Are you looking for a new contract opportunity?We are pleased to offer you a new contract opportunity for you to consider: IT Security Specialist / BI Data AnalystStart: ASAPEstimated length: 6 monthsLocation: TorontoHybrid remote work, 2 days a week onsiteAdvantagesYou will have an opportunity to work with a leading employer in the local market.Potential for contract extension, conversion to full time employment.ResponsibilitiesProvide specialized end to end BI support and analytics for significant IT operational business functions.May be considered a subject matter expert in BI and Reporting.Accountable for the development, adoption and ongoing evolution of a best-in-class reporting and/or BI capability.Contributes to the development of mature Governance and Oversight practices through improvement of Risk Identification, Control Design and Operating effectiveness.Provides specialized business management guidance and support to Technology Governance & Regulatory Management group on various areas requiring subject matter expertise and interpretation: Audit & Assurance Standards; IT Control Frameworks, IT System & Control Standards, Data Analysis.Adhere to internal policies / procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines, contribute to the review of internal processes and activities and assist in identifying potential opportunities to improve operational efficienciesSupport development and/or/ implementation of standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and maximize availability of service, efficiency and effectivenessPerform end to end BI support and analytics of operational risk functions, working with Technology segments and Internal Audit for findings requiring subject matter expertise and interpretation.Contribute to Governance and Oversight practices under the ITACC Framework, through improvement of Risk Identification, Control Design and Operating effectiveness.Conduct analysis and validate the quality and integrity of Audit findings data and produce reports utilizing analytical tools, such as advanced functions in Excel (e.g. run and create macros, pivot tables, data functions, etc.), Tableau and RSA Archer.Prepare data and summarize information to help drive actionable insights and aggregate risk of technology issues to Executive / governing committees, while ensuring compliance with privacy and security of data, data governance and access controlsExecute database queries in Access/SQL and build reports through advanced search in RSA Archer.Create and/or deliver presentations communications to management or broader audience / at various levels.Assess / identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders where required.Identify business drivers, definitions and metrics to interpret findings, action and provide reporting analysis.Monitor KPI’s and KRI’s at enterprise levelQualificationsTableau experience AdvancedExcel advancedAdvanced MS Access/SQLBanking/financial experienceData analytics experience ( Tableau /Power BI )IT security systems experience ( Data integrity focus )Executive level communication both written and spoken ( Seasoned dashboard )ETLConfluence / JIRAPythonNice to Haves:RSA Archer experienceData lakeAudit & regulatory exposureSummaryDo you have this experience?
