WorkSafeNB is seeking to fill a term contract for a Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator. Reporting to the Organizational Development Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the L&D functions in Human Resources by preparing preliminary needs assessment for L&D requests coming to the department, communicating with clients, and ensuring that requests are assigned to the appropriate HR resource. The L&D Coordinator is responsible for administrative and infrastructure support for L&D, ensuring all tools, data and employee profiles are kept up to date and meet employee, manager, and other organizational needs.
Your key areas of responsibility are as follows:
• Technological and Service Infrastructure Support - Manage, maintain, and support the technological and service infrastructure supporting Learning and Development, including updates, monitoring, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting of L&D activities.
• Perform some support functions, including serving as the point of contact for requests, and obtaining clarifications to assure files are assigned appropriately.
• Assist in the orientation, technical support, performance, and relationship management of external service providers - Provide engagement, onboarding, orientation, and first-level technical support to external service teams. Arrange for location bookings, supplies, and required equipment for internal and external facilitators., Review invoices to ensure adherence to the appropriate contracts, subscriptions, and scope of work documents and action any variances to plan.
• Monitor alignment with other HR functions and programs, ensuring that any gaps are actioned or escalated as appropriate.
• Prepare documentation including charge codes, participant lists, pre-approval, and costs, for programs delivered throughout WorkSafeNB.

You, as a successful candidate, possess:
• Post-secondary education (2-year program) in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Information Technology.
• 1-2 years of experience in the administration of human resources information systems, data processing and information sharing.
• Knowledge of Human Resources / Learning Management software and applications.
• Intermediate level Microsoft products: Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
• Basic project management, accounting, human resources, and adult learning principles.
• Ability to apply sound customer service practices with our clients (internal)..
Written and spoken competency in English is required for this position.
Pay Scale $61,594.16 to $72,464.00
Hours of work are those required to perform the assigned tasks but shall not be less than 35 hours per week.
Your primary workspace will be from your in-home office, with the occasional expectation of in person meetings, for that reason, working from outside the province or country is not permissible.
