As a Technical Consultant, you will be part of Cvent's strategic integrations consulting team called Integrations 360. You will work with customers to understand their business needs and design, develop, and implement solutions using Cvent's APIs and integrations platform. You will also provide guidance and best practices on how to leverage Cvent's products and services to achieve their goals.
It is crucial that you can work both independently, taking ownership of results, and collaboratively with a tight-knit team.
In This Role, You Will
- Manage end-to-end integration projects from scoping to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system architecture design.
- Assist customers in developing, testing, and troubleshooting their integrations using Cvent's APIs, webhooks, and custom code snippets.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for integration issues and escalations.
- Communicate effectively and confidently with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and conduct integration demos, training sessions, and documentation for customers and internal teams.
- Stay updated on Cvent's products, services, and integrations roadmap and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Here's What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in professional services, sales engineering, or similar high-tech business-to-business roles.
- Proficient in project management, business analysis, and system design methodologies and tools.
- Formal project management training (e.g. PMP) is an asset.
- High attention to detail, sense of ownership, and problem-solving skills.
- Very organized and able to maintain project plans for multiple complex projects.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and webhooks.
- Experience with Postman, curl, and other API testing tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
