We are a boutique business consulting firm based in the Greater Vancouver area and are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Hotel Consultant to join our team for casual assignments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel IT operations. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of hotel operations, with hotel technologies and systems in particular. Identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and guest satisfaction. Recommend and implement innovative technologies to enhance operational processes. Provide insights and strategies for elevating guest experiences. Develop and deliver training programs for hotel staff. Ensure staff proficiency in utilizing new technologies and systems. Utilize data analytics to derive actionable insights. Oversee the implementation of technology projects. Requirements: Previous or current experience in hotel IT management or operations is essential. Demonstrated understanding of the intricacies of hotel workflows and guest services. Proven experience with hotel IT infrastructure, reservation system, PMS, telecommunications, guest room automation, security and access control, etc. Must be based in the Greater Vancouver area and available for on-site consultations. Willingness to take on casual assignments based on project needs. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Computer Science, or related fields is preferred Job Types: Casual, Freelance Salary: $50,000.00-$150,000.00 per year Benefits: Flexible schedule Flexible Language Requirement: French not required Schedule: On call Weekends as needed Supplemental pay types: Commission pay Experience: Software integration: 2 years (required) Hotel IT operations: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person
