About us Happily Ever After Hair and Makeup Inc. is a small business in Toronto, ON. We are a team of hair and makeup artists that provide services to brides and grooms all across the GTA. We travel to any location for weddings, provide services on-site and help make the most important day of our clients' lives special by providing supportive artists, who help ensure everything is executed flawlessly! Our owner, Kat, has been a hair and makeup artist for over 15 years to date. She opened Happily Ever After Hair and Makeup Inc. in 2017, to begin servicing weddings with not only her services, but also her teams! To date we have done over 4,000 weddings since opening and our numbers are only increasing. Kat prides herself on her reputation and customer service skills and is happy to work with her clients to help them feel extra beautiful. Our work environment can vary depending on location, however we try our best to provide the following: A comfortable working environment. Kat is present at all bookings and does not tolerate verbal abuse of any kind, and will always protect her team above all. An inclusive and safe place for everyone! Mileage compensation if outside of 100 km from studio. Pay varies with experience, but is usually done per head. Opportunity for growth and advancement. On-the-job training Bridal Hair Stylist Responsibilities: - Provide professional hairstyling services to clients, including but not limited to weddings, special events, and photoshoots - Conduct consultations with clients to determine their desired look and provide recommendations based on their features and preferences - Apply hair products and style hair using various techniques to achieve desired look. - Stay up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Hairstylist (styling only, no cut or colour) or related role is required. - Minimum of 2 years as a professional Bridal Hairstylist required. - Strong knowledge of different hair products, tools, and techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Proven sales skills to promote company and upsell services - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Professional education credentials as a makeup artist are required. Please note: that if accepted onto the team, you will be required to commit 5 Saturdays during the high-wedding season (May - September) for confirmed bookings.
