Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage daily operations of the food service department - Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation - Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies - Train and mentor team members on proper food handling and safety procedures - Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints - Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop and update menu offerings - Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment -Coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food - Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation -Establish work schedules and procedures -Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards -May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets -May plan menus and determine food and labour costs.
