WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking passionate, creative, and competent early childhood educators to be a part of our dynamic team! Our centre strives to be an inclusive, high-quality environment that supports and facilitates optimal development of the whole child. Under the direction of the Director, the Early Childhood Educator will work directly within the early childhood programs providing care and creative programming for children in our centre.

The successful individual will need to be comfortable working with children from 6 months of age to 5 years. The ability to adapt quickly to new situations and work cooperatively with the lead classroom teacher is expected as your work day will not be in a consistent classroom or follow a consistent schedule.

Shifts may be arranged in advance to cover staff vacations or may be offered same day due to staff illness.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Current First Aid (CPR-B or C) certificate.
• Ability to provide professional references.
• Diplomas, certificates, or other evidence of training related to child growth/development is an asset.
• Experience working in a childcare or recreational setting is an asset.
• Successful candidates will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check-Vulnerable Sector & Child Abuse Registry Check
