SpringRoots Early Learning and Childcare Centre on Fredericton’s Northside is looking for a honest, positive, nurturing, and enthusiastic educator to add to our team. We are looking for applicants who have completed their ECE or equivalent education, such as a bachelors or B nEd degree. For the right applicant, resumes with extensive childcare experience but lacking formal education may be considered. The starting wage for qualified applicants is between $14.85- $18.20/hr.

Position availability may vary between casual supply educators, or potentially full time permanent employees. Duties of the position will include consistent attendance punctuality, planning and implementing meaningful programming in line with the NB Curriculum Framework. We value open ended learning opportunities (invitations) following the lead of the children in your care, and are seeking applicants who are able to maintain a child led and play based learning environment. You will be responsible for meeting the physical, emotional, and educational needs of the children in your care. We expect our staff to maintain a positive and welcoming attitude each day with children, staff, and parents. You will also be responsible for general classroom management and cleaning procedures.

Necessary qualifications include:

ECE certificate or university degree

Valid First Aid and CPR C certificate

Current Criminal and SD Checks

2-3 professional references

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.90-$24.47 per hour
