Job Title: Director for Prominent YouTube Channel (10M+ Subscribers) Location: Toronto, Canada (with travel requirements) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Director to join the team of a high-profile YouTube creator with over 10 million subscribers. In this role, you will play a crucial part in producing diverse content, including traditional reaction videos and innovative on-location shoots. Your expertise in camera work, combined with a deep understanding of YouTube’s platform and viral content dynamics, will be instrumental. Key Responsibilities: Directing and filming various types of content, such as reaction videos and on-location shoots. Working closely with the YouTube creator to develop and execute creative ideas. Ensuring content consistency with the creator's brand and audience expectations. Managing provided filming equipment to guarantee top-quality production. Travelling to multiple locations for video shoots. Collaborating with the channel's Creative Director/Strategist for detailed video plans and execution guidance. Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in camera work and directing, supported by a strong portfolio. Knowledge of YouTube content creation; direct experience is advantageous. Comprehensive understanding of the elements that contribute to viral videos. Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel for shoots. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Employment Type: Part-Time (minimum availability of a few days a week) Salary: Based on experience Application Process: Submit a portfolio showcasing your previous work. Shortlisted candidates will undergo a remote interview with the YouTube creator's strategist/manager. Finalists will be invited for an in-person interview and a practical test.
