Job Summary
The Faculty of Management is recognized for its innovative, values-based approach to management education and research. Reporting to the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies, the Associate Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions manages the student recruitment and integrated admissions portfolio for the graduate programs in the Faculty of Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishes and manages the annual graduate student recruitment cycle for all Faculty of Management graduate programs, in-person and blended. Develops the strategy and processes to support the function.
- Researches and analyzes competitive markets; understands external factors and develops counterpoint strategies.
- Provides leadership and supervises day-to-day operations of recruitment staff, and provides co-leadership to admissions staff. Recruits and supervises student employees associated with recruitment and admissions support functions for graduate programs.
- Develops and executes sourcing strategies and pipelines utilizing multiple channels
to build exposure and attract potential students. - Co-ordinates marketing strategies at Faculty and program level. Works with Faculty and central marketing and communications team to ensure brand consistency.
- Represents Faculty of Management at premier recruitment and community outreach events. Conducts recruitment process and outreach activities to support programs?۪ objectives.
Note
The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work (combination of in-person work on campus and remote work) as agreed by all parties based on operational requirements and university guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required with considerable experience working in post-secondary education recruitment, marketing and admissions (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Proven skills and ability to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in delivering results in support of organizational or institutional strategic objectives.
- Extensive experience with generating integrated recruitment and admissions strategy.
- Proven project management skills with demonstrated achievement of outcomes.
- Experience in managing change through both a functional and human resources lens.
