Direct Sales Representative

Eastlink is presently seeking a Direct Sales Specialist to join our growing Consumer Sales team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
This brand new role was created to ignite and sustain growth in our direct sales channels. Our fast-paced and high performing team is right at the forefront of innovation and Eastlink’s customer growth strategy. This role focuses on not only team growth but personal growth as we develop sales the skills for our channels that we support. The successful candidate will be customer experienced focused, and a champion in Eastlink products and culture to the field.

The Direct Sales Specialist will:
  • Be responsible for operationally supporting sales teams in Multi-Dwelling (MDU), the Fast Connect Sales Program, Door to Door and our Direct Sales Contractors.
  • Organize market strategies for Door to door and Direct Sales Contractors and administer the national planning calendar.
  • Manage payroll expenditures to all direct sales teams.
  • Developing and delivering raining and sales information to the direct sales teams
  • Occasionally travel to our regional offices to do hand’s on sessions with the teams

Qualifications
  • 2 years experience in customers sales, retention or equivalent role at Eastlink
  • Experience fielding a wide variety of questions from clients
  • Computer competency in a Window application with knowledge of Word, Excel, Internet and Email
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of CSG and Mind
  • High energy self starter; must be able to take on initiatives with minimal guidance and be comfortable working as an individual and as part of a team
  • Access to a vehicle when necessary
  • Working location is Hybrid model from 6080 Young Tower Halifax
  • Periodic travel to regional offices
