Counter Sales Representative

Job Description

IDN-Canada is a leading security and door hardware distributor providing security products, access control solutions and more to security professionals across Canada. We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator / Counter Sales to join our Dartmouth, NS team. The project coordinator / counter sales must have a keen attention to detail, be customer-focused, have strong organizational skills, and have experience with computer sales systems & processes. A friendly attitude, multi-tasking abilities, and a desire to exceed customer & company expectations are also assets. Product and positional training will be provided.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist customers on the phone and at the front sales counter
Estimate product pricing for customer projects
Prepare job specific submittals for approval
Enter transactions into computer systems
Coordinate product sourcing & arrival
Identify opportunities and grow business
Execute daily branch functions for productions and warehouse. This includes but is not limited to the following: loading/unloading transport, arranging deliveries, customer pickups, picking orders, putting away stock, cleaning, etc.
Gain a strong working knowledge of the company’s product offering
Support and work with all other branch personnel

Requirements:

Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as working in a cohesive team environment
Internal drive for success and professional growth
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks daily
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is preferred

IDN-Canada offers a competitive salary and benefit package, monthly & yearly bonus opportunities, commissions, and a RSP program.

Full-time position. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Salary: $35,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
