We are in search of a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and employees.
Duties:
- Great interpersonal skills that enable the Bookkeeper to clearly and effectively communicate with other employees
- The ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
- Familiarity with the general principles of accounting
- Good data entry skills
- The ability to communicate complex financial data with other members
- Record and classify financial transactions in accounting software
- The ability to use various financial transactions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
- A strong understanding of math and numbers
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and payroll
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Produce financial reports and assist with budgeting
- Assist in month-end and year-end close process
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
