Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the Junior Finance Assistant will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of commissions and providing support in various financial tasks within our finance department. Responsibilities include administration of the commission system, manage data inputs and deep collaboration with various teams to guarantee precise commission calculations and disbursements. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of financial systems are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities: Commission System Administration: Maintain and update the commission system regularly, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data inputs. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly, collaborating with the IT department when necessary. Implement improvements to streamline processes and enhance system efficiency. Liaise with sales, HR, and other relevant departments to gather necessary information for commission calculations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify commission-related queries and provide assistance as needed. Data Management and Validation: Validate and reconcile commission-related data from multiple sources to ensure consistency and accuracy. Perform regular audits to identify discrepancies and rectify them in a timely manner. Generate reports and summaries for management review, highlighting key metrics and trends. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and compliance standards in commission calculations and payments. Maintain comprehensive documentation of commission processes, updates, and changes for reference and audit purposes. Financial Data Entry and Maintenance: Assist in entering financial data into the company’s systems accurately and timely. Maintain and update financial records, ensuring completeness and correctness. Support the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Advanced Oracle NetSuite skills. Proficiency in using commission management software/systems (e.g., Salesforce, Xactly, etc.). Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across teams. Understanding of financial principles and the ability to interpret complex data. Prior experience in finance, particularly in commission administration, is a plus. Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX compliance) is advantageous.
