Benefits Partner (Hybrid)
Job Description
As a Benefits Partner you will be responsible to manage the benefits plans and recommend changes when needed to meet employee?۪s needs. You will also be responsible for day-to-day CA & US benefits for all eligible employees, benefit onboarding and offboarding, Disability Management, annual processes and compliance with company requirements and provincial and federal legislation (CA & US). You will work to support our HRIS system- Workday configuration and provide insight and experience to enhance administration processes and development of benefits modernization through technological opportunities, all while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and client service orientation. Your success in the role will ensure employees are supported in their health and well-being.

Your Responsibilities
- Understanding and supporting payroll and benefits connections and executing the benefits process
- Analysis of benefits and payroll data and reconciliation of issues
- Supports employee benefit onboarding, offering exceptional client service
- Day to day support for employees in understanding their benefits
- Manage general administration of benefit plans including processing all changes for new hires, terminations, leaves
- Investigate issues through day-to-day operation of HRIS system (Workday). This action also involves the participation and coordination of testing new releases/upgrades for the system.
- Manage relevant Employee Handbook content and process documentation
- - Continuous improvements including modernization of benefits processes through technology
- Support annual HRIS roadmap, ensuring system supports new plans, plan changes and plan updates
- Develops reporting, correspondence and performs in-depth research as required.
- Support annual open enrolment process
- Supports and respond to internal and external audit requests as required
- Maintains external/internal relationships with vendors, consultants, 3rd parties
Your Skills
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint and Excel; experience with HRIS and benefits databases.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to trouble shoot, problem solve and understanding data.
- Strong Client service orientation and a desire to support employees with their benefits
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
- Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage projects while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
Your Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years as Benefits Administration, HR or payroll
- Experience championing benefit plans
- Project Management experience is an asset
