In addition, the ministry manages the Province's real estate assets, technology systems and equipment, and leverages procurement to increase business opportunities and create rewarding jobs that contribute to local economies and benefit individuals, families, and communities.A service-focused organization, CITZ strives to be a great place to work, where all employees feel both engaged and motivated to do their best.Job OverviewThe role of the Director of Client Relations (DCR) is to develop and maintain client relationships and to provide clients' strategic service needs to The Real Property Division (RPD) lines of business in delivering real estate services to mandated and voluntary clients. The DCR provides strategic leadership and relationship management to clients, on behalf of RPD. This is done through the account management framework where the DCR partners with and ensures the long-term success of RPD service delivery to our clients.The DCR's responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with assigned clients and connecting with key client executives and stakeholders. The role of the DCR is to strategically liaise between clients and cross-functional internal RPD teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of real estate and facilities services. Through the account management framework/model, the DCR also works with clients at the executive level in a collaborative manner to gather their strategic program and service requirements, which are fed into RPD planning and program, and strategically help to inform RPD business goals. The DCR works with all internal stakeholders and communicates clearly the progress of monthly, quarterly and yearly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. The DCR manages competing priorities in a fast-paced environment requiring an ability to build relationships and achieve results through others. Focused on results and service outcomes, you work well with others and are skilled at managing teams across the division.EducationJob Requirements:University degree in a related discipline (e.g. Business or Public Administration) or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. ExperienceMinimum two (2) years' experience in the public or private sector real estate industry.Minimum two (2) years proven senior management experience in account and relationship management and/or other relevant experience.Experience producing high-quality public-facing documents, business case materials, reports and issues resolution recommendations to both internal and external client executives, Treasury Board Submissions, Cabinet Submissions, etc.Experience and competency in leading people, working and managing cross-functional activities and teams. Includes proven experience establishing and maintaining productive, collaborative relationships with diverse individuals and groups, influencing, negotiating and motivating as required to achieve desired outcomes. PreferencePreference may be given to those with five (5) or more years of senior management experience in account and relationship management and/or other relevant experiencePreference may be given to those with public sector background.
