About The Opportunity
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to two Senior Directors and Medical Co-Lead (as needed) by effectively coordinating the day-to-day operation of the Senior Director?۪s offices. The position coordinates all administrative activities, establishes administrative procedures and guidelines and acts as a liaison with the executive assistants and administrative assistants within the portfolio and across the health authority. This position provides support to assigned networks, individuals, committees or working groups. This position works closely with the Executive Assistant to the Executive and Administrative Assistant to the other Networks as well as Zone operations.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Post secondary diploma from a recognized office administration, business administration, or secretarial program required
- Undergraduate degree is an asset
- Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years' of progressively responsible experience, providing administrative support and office coordination at the senior level required
- Executive level experience within healthcare and within an integrated service model provided throughout several locations with multiple partners and stakeholders is preferred
- International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) certification is an asset
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization and organizational skills
- Demonstrated competencies requiring advanced skills and abilities in all facets of modern office practices and technology and with information and meeting technologies (including Microsoft Office and Outlook)
- Experience utilizing technology for meeting planning to create efficiencies and streamline tracking and retrieval of information
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high degree of tact, judgment and confidentially
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong adaptability to support periods of high activity and with varying personality styles
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and formats

Hours
- Permanent, Full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
Compensation and Incentives
$24.28 - $30.54 hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
