Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

This role is responsible for a full range of support services including being an ambassador of the company. The ideal candidate for this role will be versatile and willing to perform a variety of different tasks on a daily basis, while ensuring our clients comes first.

In business since 1957, Kent Homes is one of the largest home builders and mobile shelter rental companies in Atlantic Canada. We have 150,000 square feet of space dedicated to building quality homes year-round. We serve remote, rural, and urban centers throughout Atlantic Canada and Ontario.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Responsibility for managing day to day operations of office.
  • Establishing & maintaining an effective filing system
  • Accurate record keeping in existing data entry systems
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed
  • Managing purchase orders and ensure all invoices are received.
  • Answering incoming calls and redirecting them where appropriate
  • Order Office equipment, supplies, greeting customers, maintain the info line request email inbox
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business administration or relevant work experience
  • 2-5 years of experience preferred
  • Experience in construction considered an asset, but not required
  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of detail and organizational skills
  • Bilingual (French and English) requirement
