The opportunity:
The Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will support our managers and employees, assist in daily office needs, and manage our company?۪s general administrative activities.
- Processing applications for Efficiency Nova Scotia?۪s programs
- Filing all correspondence, including database input and management, and maintaining the filing system
- Organizing meetings by preparing agenda/action items, booking meeting rooms, setting up audiovisual equipment, and coordinating catering
- Respond promptly and thoroughly to requests for information.
- Updating tracking sheets and data management systems
- Preparing, proofreading, formatting, and correcting documents including reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets
- Assisting with data systems design and testing
- Verifying correct savings and rebate information; and
- Scheduling site visits.
What Will Help You Succeed?
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as an Administrative assistant or Office Admin Assistant.
- Ability to take on new opportunities and challenges, with a passion to continue to develop and grow.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and have
- Ability to prioritize deliverables and work independently or within a team.
- Experience with and proficiency with all MS Office applications (including Teams)
