YARD LABOURER

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Yard Labourer located in Saint John, NB. In this role, you will gain valuable field experience ensuring Sunbury’s fleet of trucks and trailers are outfitted with the required equipment and meet company standards. This is a great role for an action oriented and mechanically inclined individual looking for a hands-on role working with trucks, trailers, and related equipment. Qualifications:
- Transportation experience considered an asset.
- Familiarity with heavy truck and trailer maintenance procedures/ mechanical inclination considered an asset.
- Trade or Technology Diploma considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and willingness to learn.
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identification and correction of non-compliant brand standard and maintenance items.
- Basic maintenance activities for trucks and trailers in yards throughout Southern New Brunswick.
- Communicating major corrective actions to Maintenance Planners for corrective action.
- Installation and troubleshooting selected equipment on trucks and trailers including GPS based tracking equipment, cameras, sensors, decals, and mud flaps.
