Job Title: Article writer (freelance) Company: Look Steal Inc (a subsidiary of Setting Mind Media) Location: Remote Compensation: Rate-per-word (negotiated based on experience) About Us: Look Steal Inc. is a new start-up led by Tim Fujio, the founder of a multimedia brand called Setting Mind. Look Steal’s mission is to empower both everyday people and micro-influencers to monetize their social media content in the fashion niche with affiliate links. REPORTS TO: Editor-In-Chief OVERVIEW: Look Steal Inc is currently seeking those who are passionate about K-pop and celebrity fashion to join the team as an article writer for a new website (https://looksteal.com/ currently under construction). QUALIFICATIONS: Proficient use of the English language in written form. Able to work independently and under instructions. A perfectionist who obsesses on the details. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Professional communication skills. Expert knowledge in programs including (but not limited to); Wordpress, Email, Google Meet, and more. Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO). A keen eye for the visually appealing. Obsessed with K-pop and celebrity fashion. Knowledgeable of copyright and fair use laws. Previous experience with affiliate marketing is preferred but not required. Located in Toronto/GTA preferred. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Pitch article ideas. Write intriguing and relevant articles. Rigorous proofreading of your own writing. Other related duties.
