Math and Science Tutor (Math, Chemistry, Biology, Physics) We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable Math and Science Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide online tutoring in the subjects of high school Math, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics to Canadian students. The successful candidate will be required to work evenings based on the number of students on weekdays and have the flexibility to work mornings on weekends if needed. Utilizing the Classin online learning teaching tool, the Science Tutor will engage students in interactive and personalized learning experiences to ensure academic growth and success. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct online tutoring sessions in Math, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics for Canadian students. 2. Tailor lesson plans and content delivery to meet the unique learning needs of each student. 3. Utilize the Classin online learning teaching tool effectively to deliver engaging and interactive lessons. 4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement. 5. Collaborate with the academic team to develop innovative teaching strategies and materials. 6. Ensure a supportive and encouraging learning environment to foster student confidence and success. 7. Prepare students for quizzes, tests, and examinations by providing targeted review sessions and practice materials. 8. Stay updated on curriculum changes and new teaching methodologies to deliver high-quality instruction. Requirements: 1. Canadian citizenship is mandatory to comply with education and employment regulations. 2. Proven experience in tutoring Canadian students in Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. 3. Proficient in the use of the Classin online learning teaching tool or willingness to undergo orientation and training. 4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex scientific concepts in an understandable manner. 5. Strong organizational skills to manage and adapt to varying student schedules. 6. Access to fast and reliable Wi-Fi to ensure uninterrupted online tutoring sessions. 7. A genuine passion for education and commitment to nurturing students' academic growth and success. Orientation: Successful candidates will undergo orientation and training to familiarize themselves with the Classin online learning teaching tool and the specific requirements of engaging Canadian students in science tutoring. This orientation will provide insight into the organization's teaching methodology and expectations, ensuring that tutors are well-equipped to deliver exceptional educational experiences.
