Are you a Technical Systems Analyst Expert for a new opportunity?Are you looking for a new contract opportunity?We are pleased to offer you a new contract opportunity for you to consider: Technical Systems Analyst ExpertStart: ASAPEstimated length: 12 monthsLocation: TorontoActively seeking for candidates with below requirements.AdvantagesYou will have an opportunity to work with a leading employer in the local market.ResponsibilitiesProvide consulting services on new initiatives (small to large IT projects of varying complexity) and develops proposals for senior managementLead detailed design phases for projects/ programs identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues.Prepare high level and detailed technical specifications for projects in accordance with PLC, security and architecture documentation objectivesIdentifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategiesDevelop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of projectDevelop master distribution lists, implementation and contingency plans ensuring verification is performedFacilitate meetings for technical design and task implementationDevelop criteria for and participates in the evaluation of 3rd party vendors and software as well as due diligence exercisesProvide input and coordinate with DBA in creating new and modifying existing database structures using different types of databases and recommending appropriate DB based on required functionalityDevelop codes, document, and executes unit test, system, integration and acceptance testing using different languages and testing tools.Manage joint development, testing and plans and coordinates implementationsPerform database/disaster recovery for entire system in different situationsPerform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functionsProvide on-call support of applications, database, etc., particularly more complex situationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field10+ years work experience on Information Technology projects supporting an enterprise-wide environment10+ years proven work experience as a Technical Systems Analyst10+ years work experience presenting and facilitating discussions on technical requirements to support business needs of project sponsors and stakeholdersKnowledge of different programming languages (e.g. Cobol, JCL, Java, C, HTML, VB, Visual C#)Experience with single platforms and familiarity with others e.g. MVS, Internet, Client/ServerSkilled in leading detailed design phases and developing detailed technical requirements into project plan phases for successful implementationUser proficiency with different testing tools (E.g. Expediter, File-Aid), different design techniques (e.g. OO. Top-down, structured analysis, component-based design) and tools (e.g. Rational Rose)Knowledge of documentation requirements.Prepares high level and detailed technical specificationsSummaryDo you have this experience?
