Are you a Radio Wireless Network Designer looking for a new opportunity?Are you looking for a new contract opportunity?We are pleased to offer you a new contract opportunity for you to consider: Radio Wireless Network DesignerStart: ASAPEstimated length: 12 monthsLocation: BramptonRemote workAdvantagesYou will have an opportunity to work with a leading employer in the local market.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the RF engineering design and system performance of wireless network.Responsible for Radio systems design and performance for GSM/UMTS/LTE/NR technologyApply propagation theory, cellular theory, RF engineering tools and antenna theory to select cell site placement, antenna height, site configuration, tilt and power to maximize coverage, capacity and performance of the network.Generate RND with site specific parameters and perform site acceptance including parameter verification and KPI monitoringUse network performance tool to analyze network stats and pinpoint performance issues of wireless networkUnderstand In-building design and optimizationAnalyze network statistics, identify performance issue in networkRespond to customer request on wireless network design and performanceTraining of new and existing staff.Work effectively with equipment and service vendors and provide executive level professional presentations of engineering results and recommendationsQualificationsMinimum 5 years’ experience in wireless telecom industryStrong background on radio network design on 3G, 4G and 5G networkGood knowledge of network KPI and parameter (Ericsson OSS preferred)University Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Telecommunications, Computer)Professional Engineering designation preferredRadio wireless network design and RF engineering project leadStrong understanding and experience working on GSM/UMTS/HSPA/LTE/NRGood technical understanding of TDMA, WCDMA and OFDMA air interface protocolsExcellent understanding of radio propagation principles for wireless spectrum.Good theoretical understanding of Tx/Rx Radio and Antenna system designWorked proficiently with Planet RF Planning tool (or equivalent)Understanding of RF radiation safety and Canada SC6 standardExcellent communicator – fluent in English, both written and verbalProficient with Microsoft Office Excel (VBA) et Access, Python automation, SQL is assetProficient in MapInfoFull drivers licenseSummaryDo you have this experience?
