The Social Media Manager is a key member of the Murphy Hospitality Group (MHG) Marketing team. The Social Media Manager will oversee the development of content strategies to meet brand objectives, helping grow the social media presence and the community surrounding MHG and its operations including restaurants, hotels, and events. The Social Media Manager will oversee a team of two Social Media Coordinators and will report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

As Social Media Manager, you will:
- Work with the marketing team on campaigns and develop content strategies in accordance with strategic priorities
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and identity across all social media channels for a variety of brands
- Support the MHG team in building and evolving multiple brands across various social media platforms
- Work with our in-house photographer/videographer and graphic design team to create content for various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok
- Post content according to a schedule and additional spontaneous interaction, attending events as needed and going above and beyond to create innovative engaging posts
- Provide guest services across multiple social media platforms
- Work with the management teams to develop strategies for individual accounts
- Collect and track data, provide reporting on social media campaigns, recruitment ads and promotional efforts
- Audience engagement as it relates to listening, monitoring, engaging fans and customers and creating a sense of valuable and enjoyable interaction in all of our communities
- Execute and manage Meta ads campaigns
- Stay on top of latest social media trends, changes and content creator opportunities

- Flexible; able to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Have a love for social media, community engagement and it?۪s use as a marketing tool
What You Bring:
- Highly organized and efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Very strong knowledge of best practices within social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and more
- Basic photography skills
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Minimum 5 years?۪ experience working in marketing communications or community engagement
- A degree or diploma in Business Administration or Arts is considered an asset
- Experience in hospitality and/or events is considered an asset
