Fort Garry Industries is opening its first location in Atlantic Canada and has an exciting opportunity for multiple warehouse positions to join our team at our new Dartmouth branch.

We have multiple positions for shipper receivers, parts handlers, and delivery drivers. Successful candidates will be cross trained to succeed at each role.

Duties and Responsibilities: Warehouse
- Oversees the shipping and receiving of product
- Verifying parts orders to ensure they are correct before shipment
- Verifying shipments received against shipping documents
- Package, label and ship customer orders by courier, motor freight and local truck deliveries.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damaged, missing or shortage of stock to supervisors.
Duties and Responsibilities: Delivery Driver
- Load materials into vehicle and install straps, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Follow company delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency of delivery run.
- Manually, load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices.
- Check all load related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience preferred.
- Valid non GDL drivers' license with six years of Canadian driving experience
- Drivers abstract with no major infractions (1 month old maximum)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
- Heavy duty parts supply background and /or knowledge an asset
