Terms of Employment: Full Time / Part Time - Days, Evenings & Weekends

This role is seasonal and has a start date in May of 2024 through October 2024.

Location: Dalvay by the Sea, Prince Edward Island

Position Responsibilities And Expectations

Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor.
Provide detailed information about menu items, including wine pairings and special dietary options.
Accurately take and process orders, ensuring all guest preferences are met.
Deliver food and beverages promptly, maintaining the highest service standards.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the dining area, ensuring a pleasant environment.
Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
Respond to guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
Stay informed about current menu offerings and specials.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience as a server in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of food service principles and best practices.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and move quickly as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent; training in hospitality or related field is a plus.
