Sr Content Marketing Manager EF Educational Tours Sr Level, Full-TimeStarting Date: October 2023Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (Opportunity to work in-office 3 days a week and from home 2 days a week. This is not a remote role.)EF Educational Tours helps teachers change their students’ lives through educational travel. And frankly, EF does student travel better than anyone else. Our mission is to open the world through education – by helping people see new places, experience new cultures, and learn new things about the world and about themselves.We are looking for a detailed, process-driven individual with an audience-first mindset to be the first content marketing manager at EF Educational Tours Canada. You’ll play a key role in developing managing, and executing a conversion-focused content strategy. We're looking for someone who has experience managing an in-house content team and brings a network of experienced freelance content writers with them. You are an expert with content governance and will institute best practices for content planning, creation and production. You are passionate about providing value to our customers and find distinct and relevant ways to inform, educate and inspire them. You are excited to educate the marketing and creative team as well as senior leadership around the importance and effectiveness of content and its power to drive a brand forward.What You'll DoOwn and lead the content strategy across all existing and future channels Maintain expertly-organized editorial calendars for the content we deliver across all funnel stages and channels (blog, social, video, reports) Work cross-functionally with product, market development, finance and CX team to ensure quality control of all site content Understand where our customers hang out, how they consume content and prioritize content types and formats accordingly Build a library of high-value content on our blog, maintaining a regular publishing cadence Develop a blog email newsletter to nurture our audiences, driving conversions and direct repeat travellers Create and edit supporting content including landing page copy, email, blog articles, etc. working with internal design and web dev Perform fundamental on-page & off-page SEO activities, including keyword research/ranking analysis, competitive market analysis, strategic keyword-friendly editing, content development/management, metadata updates, and analysis of EF web property Own all reporting and analytics (Google Analytics, PowerBI) Combine search data to understand user intent with a deep understanding our customers pain points to inform our content mix Institue SEO best practices at all times, making sure we are regularly optimizing existing as well as net new content Institute systems and tooling to ensure content operations are easily adoptable and scalable Hire and manage freelance content writers and community manager What You BringDeep experience building and executing content marketing strategies including maintaining an editorial calendar, managing freelance content creators, and managing content creation from inception through to publication, measurement and analysis.
