The primary focus of this position is to grow our lumber, panel, and building products business within the assigned area.The position is based out of our branch in Moncton, with travel involved throughout the New Brunswick territory.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and develop the Company’s current client base and generate new business within assigned service areaProvide customers with relevant product information, superior customer service and after-sales servicePrepare various internal paperwork, process orders, etc. Develop a close working relationship with customers and suppliersIdentify key areas of opportunity by reviewing customers, competitors and trendsPlan and implement promotional programsSchedule, coordinate and conduct product demonstrationsEnsure maximum sales revenues are obtainedAttend periodic meetings and trade shows, as requiredMaintain working knowledge of all features of all products soldProvide customers with relevant product information and serviceQualificationsKnowledge/Skills/CompetenciesA post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experienceMust have a minimum of 3–5 years of sales experience; related industry experience would be beneficial. An established relationship with the customer base would be beneficial.
