Our team consists of a developmental pediatrician, OT, SLP and Social Worker. Assessments take place at our Cambridge site and assessment clinics are currently scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Consideration will be given to those who are Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) trained and/or have ASD Assessment experience, however there is an opportunity to train a successful applicant(s) with relevant experience and keen interest in ASD assessment and diagnosis. Qualifications/ Requirements: · Must have either o Graduated from an accredited program in Occupational Therapy (OT) and are registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) or; o A master’s degree of Speech-Language Pathology and are registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario · Training and experience with Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) is an asset · Proven ability and willingness to work as an integral member of a team · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and data entry · Ability to work independently with little direction, self-motivated and demonstrate initiative · Experience with children who have a variety of developmental, physical, and communicative disorders · Excellent organizing, coordinating, and managing the program demands in a fast-paced environment · High levels of attention to detail and confidentiality, as well as strong time management skills · Knowledge of AlayaCare or other electronic charting software an asset · Demonstrated consultation and problem-solving skills · Standard First Aid and CPR is an asset · Travel is required; you must have access to a reliable vehicle with public liability/property damage coverage We invite applications from those interested in this position to submit a letter of interest and resume by end of day January 11, 2024, to Human Resources by emailing recruitment@kidsability.ca .
