Position Overview

As a Night Custodian at Cabot Cape Breton, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our resort during night-time hours. Your role involves cleaning and sanitizing various areas, including public spaces, restrooms, and guest accommodations, ensuring they meet Cabot's high-quality standards. Working diligently and independently, you will perform tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Attention to detail is paramount as you empty trash bins, restock supplies, and address any immediate cleaning needs that arise. Your dedication to cleanliness and your ability to work efficiently during the night will play a key part in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable stay at Cabot Cape Breton.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

• Valid Class 5 Nova Scotia Driver’s License is required.
• Hotel industry experience - previous experience an asset.
• High school diploma and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  
  

Requirements Of The Role You Should Be Aware Of

• Based on the nature of our business and the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years.
• As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
