IT Coordinator

Job Description
What will be done - IT Growth Coordinator will be tasked with developing the Shake_ IT Up _work plan in consultation with Kim Todd, Amanda Russell, Director Andrew Bourne, the new MITACS intern and other team members. Shake IT Up will include: Guide to the Good website audit - review/audit website to optimize structure and content Development of Metrics and Measurement to support the 3-year Marketing Strategy IT Training and content development support to help local companies progress on their digital journey IT work for member recipients of CDAP grant How it will be managed and measured Shake IT Up will be managed using ASANA project management software Aspects of the Shake IT Up will be set up as a project with tasks and templates for repeating actions. The campaign will unfold responsively and responsibility with a people focus, an adaptable approach, and continuous improvement. Why it is being done - Shake IT Up is an essential project that will optimize the g2g platform, develop measurement tools for the g2g marketing strategy, create capacity to respond to member needs through the Grow Your Business online CDAP grant, and support local companies as they progress on their Digital journey with g2g. By whom will it be done - The Manager, IT Growth will be the sole resource tasked with overseeing this project. How long it will take - Shake IT Up project development and execution will take 52 weeks from January 2024 to Jan 2025. Early January. - planned and mapped, and the website audit will be well-underway. Work will have begun for members. Professional consultation on SEO and Google Ads will have begun. February - Digital Is DoAble Livestreams/tutorials will have begun April (in conjunction with the Market Research phase), work underway on the metrics and measurement. End June - Digital Is DoAble events will be planned. By end of November, the project will be completed with the website optimized, pop-up surveys set up, and the Digital Is DoAble series complete.```Duties```: - Coordinate and oversee IT projects and initiatives - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues - Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and networking equipment - Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems - Monitor system performance and security, and implement necessary updates and patches - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT solutions - Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes, procedures, and policies - Conduct regular system backups and ensure data integrity - Assist with the procurement of IT equipment and software licenses ```Requirements```: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) - Strong knowledge of Jenkins, rat, NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, JavaScript, SQL, T-SQL, DNS, DevOps - Experience with managing operating systems (Windows, Linux) - Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
