Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience selling or servicing property and casualty insurance products is preferred but not required.
We are looking for motivated candidates that have excellent customer service skills, professional image, self-motivation and strong attention to details. They must have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Essential Functions
- Obtain and maintain knowledge of products.
- Communicate in a professional and friendly manner with clients, potential clients, co-workers, and represented insurance company employees.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and work with multiple systems.
- Assist clients with billing issues and processing of premium payments.
- Maintain a quick response time to incoming phone calls and other lines of communication.
- Assist clients with changes and concerns.
- Process documents, mail, and files through fax and email.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Professionally represent the credit union and insurance agency in the office as well as at off-site events.
- Represents the Credit Union with honesty, integrity and trust at all times.
- Adheres to established internal policies and procedures for compliance.
- Completes required compliance training in a timely manner and complies with all regulations within scope of the position.
- Adheres to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, USA PATRIOT Act and anti-money laundering regulations.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Working Conditions
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of items weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Potential exposure to the threat of violence at any time.
- Occasional business travel may be required.
- Sitting or standing for extended periods of time may be required.
- Repetitive motions and extensive keyboarding may be required.
