Position Overview
Working closely with the Food & Beverage and Guest Service teams, you will act as a liaison between the operations of our F&B outlets and all other resort departments to ensure seamless continuity between guest expectations and our execution. Overseeing coordination of pre-arrival arrangements and on-site delivery of private dining arrangements, special requests, large group events, etc. and ensuring that restaurant dining reservations are updated, confirmed and well-managed, your role will combine administrative proficiency with impeccable guest-facing skills. This role is a crucial in ensuring out guests, including VIPs and our Real Estate Owners are treated to the highest level of culinary and service excellence.

- Logistics and Organization : Coordinating the logistics of a fast-paced, multifaceted operation, maintaining strong organizational and communication skills; planning and executing details to perfection and gathering information from a variety of sources
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring that every aspect of our food and beverage operation meets the highest standards, maintaining quality and consistency, and that systems in place are efficient and optimized.
- Problem Solving: Thinking on your feet to ensure smooth service delivery, responding quickly and positively to the unexpected, finding your way to “Yes!”
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with chefs, kitchen staff, servers, and other team members, as well as reservations agents, guest service specialists and all levels of management, in pursuit of delivering a world-class experience.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Two years’ experience in Hospitality and F&B
- 3 – 5 years’ administrative experience
- Payroll administration an asset
- High proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Be of legal age to serve alcohol in NS (19)
- Experience with Point of Sales and inventory systems
- Knowledge of high-end culinary and hospitality offerings
- A strong understanding of wine and spirits
- Experience with high volume stock and ordering
- Ability to work flexible hours – mornings, weekends, evenings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and detail oriented
Requirements Of The Role You Should Be Aware Of
- Based on the nature of our business and the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years.
- As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.
- Long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing, and crouching while performing other duties is to be expected
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and otherwise moving objects up to 50 lbs in weight
- Frequently ascending or descending stairs and ramps
