Position Title: Facilities Coordinator
Team and Location: Summerside, PE
Minimum Starting Hourly Rate: $20.65/hour
Position Summary:
The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation of the physical facilities associated with the Summerside Branch of Island Petroleum. This includes the distillate terminal, propane terminal, propane tank yard and lubricant warehouse. This will include meeting key corporate goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Health, Safety & Environmental policies are adhered to and all employees and contractors abide safe work practices. Ensure all Operational Policies (loading/offloading, etc) are adhered to.
- Monitor inventory for bulk products at both terminals and coordinate delivery with local and regional supply teams.
- Monitor and Operate the Accuload terminal truck loading system.
- Oversees the maintenance of property and equipment at the facilities to ensure everything is accounted for and remains in working order.
- Ensure adequate number of propane tanks are prepped and coordinate distribution with sales and service.
- Conduct and document Daily/Weekly/Monthly inspections of distillate and propane terminals, noting any deficiencies and coordinating repairs.
- Conducts lubricant ordering for the branch when supply is low and manages the product inventory to ensure the supply is replenished when needed. Oversees the monthly inventory process to ensure all product balances properly.
- Provides product knowledge and solutions to customers when needed.
- Oversee and coordinate work/repairs being conducted on sites by third party contractors. Ensuring compliance with all Island Petroleum policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Industry knowledge relating to energy distribution desired.
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Excellent organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Safety Oriented
- Must have a valid drivers license and an abstract in good standing. 3A would be considered an asset.
- Be available for after hours and on call to meet business demands.
- Forklift License would be an asset.
