Job Description

Scotia Auto Glass is a customer centric retailer and Installer primarily of automotive glass and windshield camera calibrations. In addition to automotive, Scotia Auto Glass also works with clients to help them with customized glass and plastic, thermo units, plate glass, home glass, heavy equipment glass and boat/ship glass. At Scotia Auto Glass we think of each piece of installed glass as a masterpiece, enjoying the journey from sheet glass to a form of pride with absolute delight for our clients.

We would like to add another cheerful team member to assist with glass preparation and installation as well as all the various tasks associated with running a business and helping the team delight Clients.

?? Able to lift glass many times a day (35-50 lbs average) at times with a partner

?? Criminal record check upon hiring

?? Valid Class 5 driver license, drivers abstract

?? Won't mind driving to Lunenburg or to the city (or from the city to South Shore) to fill in for team mates

Skills and Responsibilities

?? Carefully lift glass and clean glass without damaging it, clients property or yourself.

?? Ability to remove and reinstall wiper blades, arms and cowl. Removal and installation of rear view mirrors, mouldings and clips, door panels and glass regulators.

?? Prepare clean clients vehicle or property before, during and after install

?? Positive attitude

?? Respect and take care of clients property

?? Strong interpersonal and communication skill

?? Learn product inside & out - to be able to grow into Sales-Proactive and Independent worker

?? Maintain organize and stock for mobile vehicles and shop

?? Clean, sweep, Sort and put garbage curbside

?? Ability to use some power tools an asset such as a drill, recip Saw, jig saw, grinder, vacuum, blower, air tools etc

?? Bonus: Yard maintenance, including snow removal, mowing

?? Bonus: Remove and re-install tires and inspect brakes

?? Wash and detail vehicles

Reliable in attendance is essential for hiring

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Automotive repair: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
